ASEAN Learning Network

The ASEAN Learning Network (ALN) was launched in February 2009, at the International Conference on Intercultural Management to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Bandung. The Network’s founding members include Bandung Institute of Technology, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, San Beda College, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, and Asia Research Centre. Members of this Network collaborate to further the Context-Based approach to Management Teaching, Research and Practice-Training in Asia. As of 1 January 2018, there are currently sixteen member institutions in ALN.

Vision

To attain practice-relevant academic excellence in a socially responsible way for participating institutions through context-based management and economic research, teaching and practice-training.

Mission

To develop and implement context-based research, teaching and practice-training projects and programs in collaboration with participating institutions to produce students who are socially responsible and culturally competent in the evolving context of Asia.
